1、嘗試

Give it a try! 試一下吧/ Try and do it你試試看/ Have another try再試一遍 /I'll go for it 我大膽試一試。

　　例1：This is the new product. Give it a try!

　　這是新產(chǎn)品，試一下吧

　　例2：A: Wow, what a fabulous idea!

　　哇，這個想法棒極了。

　　B: But I'm afraid it is difficult to carry out。

　　但我恐怕這個實(shí)施起來很難。

　　A: Give it a try! I'm always complaining that I couldn't find the right way. But now your idea will work out the problem。

　　試一下吧，我一直在抱怨找不到正確的方法，但現(xiàn)在你的這個方法可以解決問題。

2、“站位”

Which side are you on? 你支持哪一邊？/Who are you rooting for? 你支持哪一方？/Which side do you support? 你支持哪一方？/I'm on your side。我是站在你這邊的。

      例3：A: Tom, which side are you on?

　　湯姆，你支持哪一邊？

　　B: I'm on your side。

　　我支持你。

　　例4：A: Whether Nick should be allowed to continue doing this or not is really a problem. There seem to be two sides regarding the argument。

　　尼克是否應(yīng)該被允許繼續(xù)做下去確實(shí)是個問題。關(guān)于這個爭論好像出現(xiàn)了兩派。

　　B: Yeah, I see。

　　是的，我知道了。

　　A: Which side are you on?

　　你支持哪一邊？

　　B: I maintain a neutral position. Do yo have any suggestions?

　　我保持中立。你有什么建議嗎？

3、時間緊張

I'm pressed for time。我時間緊迫。/ My schedule is tight。我時間安排得很緊。/ I'm really busy now。我現(xiàn)在真的很忙。/ There's no time left。沒有時間了。

　   例5：A：Kelly, do you work overtime today?

　　凱利，今天要加班嗎？

　　B：Yes, the plan must be worked out today.I'm pressed for time。

　　是的，這個計劃今天必須做出來，我時間緊迫。

4、鼓勵

You can do it。你可以的。/You'll make it。你可以的。/You're going to be fine。你會做好的。/It's going to be all right。會好起來的。

　　例6：A：Tony, I believe you. You can do it!

　　托尼，我相信你，你可以的。

　　B: Thanks for your encouragement。

　　謝謝你的鼓勵。

　　例7： Come on. Though we face some technical problems, I believe everyone here can solve them。

      加油！盡管我們面臨一些技術(shù)上的問題，我相信這里的每個人，你們能解決這些問題。
